Pride cards
June is Pride month. Paperless Post stands in solidarity with LGBTQIA+ pioneers of the past and present and approaches this category as a supportive ally. We recognize that this year’s Pride celebration has a more somber tone. Across the country and across the globe, in-person Pride parades and events have been cancelled due to Covid. However, the desire to celebrate and connect with the LGBTQIA+ community remains. In all of our work, we aim to facilitate connection. The spirit behind this collection was to make it easy to send a “Happy Pride” online greeting card to friends or family you’d normally be celebrating with IRL, and to celebrate any journey of self discovery.
Gay Pride Rainbow Cards
Created in-house by our team of talented illustrators and designers, Paperless Post’s online Gay Pride rainbow cards are meant to reflect the joy and celebration of Pride. As such, amply represented is the rainbow. The rainbow is a symbol that captures popular imagination across cultural contexts. The rainbow simultaneously acts as a stage for childhood daydreams, appears in the religious texts as a symbol of the divine, and in physics as a property of light. It's natural beauty, it's pride, it's good luck. Our Pride Cards reflect the spectrum of exuberant color found in in the gay pride flag, but also implicitly acknowledge that Pride 2021 won't be the same. It is our hope that our online Pride greeting cards and our Pride invites reflect the diversity of tone and perspective found in the LGBTQIA+ community and aid in facilitating connection.
