How to design custom graduation announcements
Forget the hassle of assembling graduation announcements piece by piece. Your graduation announcement template comes pre-loaded with appropriate wording, but we’ll leave the fine details in your capable hands. Congratulate your grad’s academic achievement and edit the fonts, colors, and layout of your graduation announcement cards’ wording. Your digital greeting can feature a few well-designed cues—pick from our curated selection of envelopes and envelope liners to match the design of your card and a backdrop for your letter to arrive on. Online delivery is simple—put together your list with the help of our online address book or import addresses from your personal email contacts.
Photo graduation announcements let you send out your good news with a snapshot from the commencement ceremony. Should you wish to gild the diploma a bit, choose a graduation announcement card design from one of our premier partners, including stationery artists like Rifle Paper Co. and independent editorial illustrators like The Indigo Bunting. Designs inspired by antique books nod to all the knowledge your grad will carry into the working world (or postgraduate academia).
How to address digital graduation announcements
When considering who to send your graduation announcements to, remember to inform any friends or family of the milestone achievement, even if they aren’t invited to the official commencement or after party. Once you have finalized your recipient list, address the online graduation announcement similar to how you would print stationery. To fit the formality of the occasion, we suggest using full names and formal titles for recipients' names.
When to send graduation announcements
School may be over, but when is the deadline to send graduation announcements? Whether you’re commemorating the end of their college years or the last days of high school, we recommend sending online announcements between two weeks prior to graduation and six weeks following graduation. If your graduation announcement also serves as a party invitation, it is best to give your guests additional time to prepare for the big day. If you expect several grad celebrations around the same time, consider sending an online save the save to mark the calendar early.
Graduation thank you notes
After the university graduation or college announcements are sent, don’t let your son or daughter leave the groves of academe ill-equipped. If you can’t spare any time for interview prep, give them support by pointing out the utility of smart online graduation thank you cards—because there is no greater marker of adulthood than a well-timed note of thanks.
