A letter from our CEO: The future of PAPER by Paperless Post

Paperless Post BlogBehind the Scenes > A letter from our CEO: The future of PAPER by Paperless Post

We’re about to embark on a big change here in the studio—and we thought we’d let James Hirschfeld, our co-founder and CEO, tell you all about it.

To our valued hosts and guests,

Today we are excited to announce a shift in how we offer you paper and online invitations. Starting October 10th, we will return to our roots as a truly paperless events platform focused on helping you use digital tools to gather more easily and meaningfully in real life. For occasions that require traditional paper communications, we will continue to offer our most popular designs in print through our new partnership with Paper Source.

Why this shift?
We believe there are many unexplored opportunities in online invitations. We started Paperless Post nine years ago with a conviction in the power of great design and technology to change the way we communicate and connect. By partnering with Paper Source, we will be able to focus more on developing innovative digital tools and creative multimedia designs to help you manage all your events easily on Paperless Post, across all your devices.

How can you order paper going forward?
For the next six weeks, our library of thousands of paper designs will continue to be available for purchase as usual. Starting October 10th, if you wish to purchase one of our most popular designs for your wedding or the holidays, we’ll take you directly from our website to www.papersource.com to customize and complete your purchase.

How did we choose Paper Source?
For over 30 years, Paper Source has been the destination for people who love beautiful paper goods. With their reputation for quality, printing expertise, and customer service, we are confident that they will be able to provide the experience you’ve come to expect from us. Here are a few more benefits of the partnership:

Free proofing by professional designers for all invitation orders

– Ability to find and order coordinating products for your invitations, like custom stamps, napkins, and coasters

– New printing capabilities with even more elaborate design options, including die-cut cards and specialty envelopes

– The ability to see, sample, and touch a selection of our wedding designs in physical stores

Thank you for your support. We are excited to continue helping you bring your events to life.
