Paperless Post’s large selection of upload your own design templates allows you to use your own images, photos, and finished designs for any event. Our invitation maker offers multiple orientation options, so you can start by selecting the shape that best suits your artwork. Our “Custom (Fit to your design)” template, which retains the shape and aspect ratio of your design, is our most popular, but we also have other options as well. We recommend using a 300 DPI file to ensure the clearest resolution. For more information regarding file sizes, please see our FAQ page for a list of all required dimensions. The best part? Our upload your own templates work for a range of online invitations for both professional events and consumer events: weddings, bar and bat mitzvah invitations, open houses, corporate holiday parties, baby showers, and more. If you’re looking to send a truly one-of-a-kind invitation and don’t already have one of your own, you can work directly with our Personal Design Services team to make it happen.

Want to send your guests an invitation that’s both customized and animated? Our “Start From Scratch” Flyer is a great option. GIFs, JPEGs, and PNGs are all acceptable file formats for our Flyer invitations. We recommend that you use a 1024 x 1024 pixels image for best display. If you choose one of our pre-designed Flyer templates, you can upload your own image or GIF, select Page Style colors and fonts, and add animated stickers and text effects.

If you prefer printed invitations, our exclusive print partner Paper Source also offers the ability to upload your own designs, so you can mix and match print and online invitations. If the invitation design is eligible, our Customer Service team can provide you with a final hi-res JPG with bleeds that you can upload directly through Paper Source's Upload Your Own tool. Paper Source offers six size options: a 5" x 7" flat-printed vertical card, a 5" x 7" flat-printed horizontal card, a 4 bar flat card (often used as a response card or miniature save the dates), as well as digitally printed Upload Your own A2 sized cards (or 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" flat card). A2 cards often accompany a printed wedding invitation and include accommodation information or other wedding details that guests need to know ahead of your big day.
