2026 Graduation party invitations
With dozens of carefully crafted templates, making graduation invitations online with Paperless Post is hassle-free and as enjoyable as walking across that stage and throwing your cap in the air. Use our sophisticated design tool to customize your invitation’s font type to match school colors or get creative by uploading your own design. Add the finishing touches with a coordinated envelope, liner, and backdrop.
You can edit the sample text of all our invitation templates to spell out the specifics of your honoree’s accomplishment, whether it’s nursing school graduation, completing a dissertation defense, or finishing kindergarten (there are no small graduations—just small graduates).
How to choose a graduation party invitation design?
When deciding on a template for your graduation party invites, designs with flying mortar boards and tassels are a staple of the season, but you’ll find options and ideas for every mood. A diploma-inspired invitation commemorates the real reason for the celebration which makes them a fitting choice for the occasion. Our partnership collections by creative designers like Sugar Paper and kate spade new york offer graduation designs stamped in illustrated gold foil (or rose gold or silver) for an extravagant feel that this meaningful milestone deserves. Stately pen and ink drawings and typographic designs make a lovely entree to a formal event, and hand-painted illustrations from Rifle Paper Co. depict the graduation day’s festivities with a bit of whimsy.
If you want to take one last nostalgic snapshot of your graduate, a photo invitation is a great way to frame the honoree by putting them right in the limelight. You don’t have to pick just one moment, though—a multi-photo design lets you reminisce as fully as you like.
Graduation party invitation wording
If you’re not sure what to write or say on a graduation invitation, use our premade templates as a guide. Customize the sample text to include your event date and time, the location and activity, and most importantly, the graduate’s name. A funny or heartfelt sentiment can add a personal touch that people will gravitate toward. Our Support Team is also happy to help with invitation wording if needed. Just submit a request and they’ll get back to you with the assistance you need.
How do you address graduation party invitations?
Once the design is squared away, it’s time to start addressing your invitations. If you’ve sent an online invitation with Paperless Post in the past, deliver your invitation digitally with the help of our online address book—it’s filled with all those previous party invitees, and you can import email contacts to fill in the gaps. Once you’ve sent your digital graduation party invitations out, manage your event online from start to finish by communicating with your recipients through private and group messaging as well as using the RSVP tool to keep track of the guest list.
If you couldn’t invite every well-wisher to the big bash, send graduation announcements to friends and family so they can celebrate remotely while still experiencing some of the excitement.
