Wherever Paperless Post collects Personal Data we make an effort to provide a link to this Privacy Policy.

By voluntarily providing us with Personal Data, you are consenting to our use of it in accordance with this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy is intended to cover collection of information on the Site from residents of the United States. If you provide Personal Data to this Site, you acknowledge and agree that such Personal Data may be transferred from your current location to the offices and servers of Paperless Post and the authorized third parties referred to herein located in the United States.

Other Information:

We may also collect and store personal information about other people that you provide to us through your use of the Paperless Post Services. We use guests’ contact information to, among other things, allow them to respond to and comment on your Paperless Post Stationery or other correspondence. At your request, we may send reminders to guests and display their names to other guests of the same event. Paperless Post may store such non-personally identifiable information itself or such non-personally identifiable information may be included in databases owned and maintained by Paperless Post affiliates, agents or service providers. The Site may use and share such non-personally identifiable information and pool it with other information to track, for example, the total number of visitors to our Site, the number of visitors to each page of our Site, and the domain names of our visitors’ Internet service providers. It is important to note that no Personal Data is available or used in this process of collecting non-personally identifiable information.

In operating the Site, we may use standard technologies, including “cookies.” A cookie is a piece of information that the computer that hosts our Site gives to your browser when you access the Site. Our cookies help provide additional functionality to the Site and help us analyze Site usage more accurately. For instance, our Site may set a cookie on your browser that allows you to access the Site without needing to remember and then enter a password more than once during a visit to the Site. In all cases in which we use cookies, we will not collect Personal Data except with your permission, which you may set through your web browser. On most web browsers, you will find a “help” section on the toolbar. Please refer to this section for information on how to receive notification when you are receiving a new cookie and how to turn cookies off. We recommend that you leave cookies turned on because they allow you to take advantage of some of the Site’s features.

Aggregated Personal Data:
In an ongoing effort to better understand and serve the users of the Paperless Post Services, Paperless Post often conducts research on its customer demographics, interests and behavior based on the Personal Data and other information provided to us. This research may be compiled and analyzed on an aggregate basis, and this type of aggregated information does not identify you personally (the “Aggregate Data”), and Paperless Post may share this Aggregate Data with its affiliates, agents and business partners. Paperless Post may also disclose Aggregate Data in order to describe our services to current and prospective business partners, and to other third parties for other lawful purposes.

Our Use of Your Personal Data and Other Information:

Paperless Post uses the Personal Data you provide in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy. Paperless Post and its subsidiaries and affiliates (the “Paperless Post Related Companies”) may also use your Personal Data and other personally non-identifiable information collected through the Site to help us improve the content and functionality of the Site, to better understand our users and to improve the Paperless Post Services. Paperless Post and its affiliates may use this information to contact you in the future to tell you about services we believe will be of interest to you. If we do so, each communication we send you will contain instructions permitting you to “opt-out” of receiving future communications. In addition, if at any time you wish not to receive any future communications or you wish to have your name deleted from our mailing lists, please contact us as indicated below.

As described above, Paperless Post may collect and store personal information about other people that you provide to us through your use of the Paperless Post Services. If Paperless Post intends on using any Personal Data in any manner that is not consistent with this Privacy Policy, you will be informed of such anticipated use prior to or at the time at which the Personal Data is collected.

Our Disclosure of Your Personal Data and Other Information:

Paperless Post is not in the business of selling your information. We consider this information to be a vital part of our relationship with you. There are, however, certain circumstances in which we may share your Personal Data with certain third parties without further notice to you, as set forth below:

Other Users/Event Guests:
Other users and/or event guests invited to the same events as you will be able to view your name on the guest list unless you request removal from the event host or by emailing help@paperlesspost.com. Paperless Post will not display or give out your e-mail address or any other contact information to other users except as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy.

Paperless Post offers public guests lists. For any event with a public guest list, Paperless Post may display the names of guests to other guests of the same event. Paperless Post may also combine public guest list information among all events to identify the number of times a user and/or event guest has indicated that he/she would be attending the same event as another guest (“Co-Attendees”). Users who register with Paperless Post (“Member(s)”) may have access to certain information on Co-Attendees, such as the number of times a Co-Attendee has attended the same event as the Member. If you do not consent to us disclosing such information to your Co-Attendees, please email us at help@paperlesspost.com.

Paperless Post may also offer users and/or event guests the opportunity to contact each other through the Site. We may use guests’ contact information to notify guests that a Co-Attendee has requested that Paperless Post facilitate electronic contact with that guest through the Site. In facilitating this electronic contact through the Site, Paperless Post will not intentionally disclose guest contact information.

Business Transfers:
As we develop our business, we might sell, buy or merge businesses or assets. In the event of a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution or similar event, Personal Data may be part of the transferred assets.

Related Companies:
We may also share your Personal Data with our Related Companies for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Co-Branded Partners:
Co-Branded Partners are third parties with whom Paperless Post may jointly offer a service or feature. You can tell when you are accessing services offered by a Co-Branded Partner because the Co-Branded Partner’s name will be featured. You may be asked to provide information about yourself to register for a service offered by a Co-Branded Partner. In doing so, you may be providing your information to both us and the Co-Branded Partner or we may share your information with the Co-Branded Partner. Please note that the Co-Branded Partner’s privacy policy may apply to its use of your information.

Agents, Consultants and Related Third Parties:
Paperless Post, like many businesses, sometimes hires other companies to perform certain business-related functions. Examples of such functions include mailing information, maintaining databases and processing payments. When we employ another company to perform a function of this nature, we only provide them with the information that they need to perform their specific function.
