Public Funding for Parks and Climate in 2021

Hosted byThe Trust for Public Land Action Fund

Please join us for a virtual event on the future of public funding for parks and public lands. Learn how The Trust for Public Land donors helped us pass all 31 ballot measures we campaigned for in 2020, generating over $3 billion in new public funding for parks and conservation. We’ll analyze recent policy wins made possible by our donors, with a focus on equity and climate, and discuss opportunities for expanded public support at the federal, state, and local levels in 2021 and 2022.

The big wins of 2020 and bigger bets for 2021

The Trust for Public Land Action Fund Board Chair Caroline Niemczyk will host and our Conservation Finance Program Director Conor Hall will take us behind the scenes of the successful campaign for Denver Measure 2A to fund climate-smart infrastructure. We will discuss how this recent win at the polls will translate to a more equitable future for Denver’s communities and serve as a model for other cities who are ready to lead in the fight against climate injustice.

With a new Congress in session, The Trust for Public Land Action Fund President Bill Lee will also discuss priorities for conservation funding at the federal level.

Space is limited, so we hope you’ll sign up today.
