We love seeing how users’ parties come together—especially when hosts have a specific vision and get creative with their invitations. So when Beijos Events blogged about the magical birthday party co-owner Leah Carriger threw for her daughter, we were excited to see how she used a wedding invitation to match the 3-year-old’s party theme.
Rather than use a more traditional kids’ birthday invitation decorated with jeweled tiaras and powder pink castles, Carriger chose “Fleurs Sauvages”—or wildflowers in French—for Edie Lola’s princess fête. Carriger’s vision was suitably girly none of the less, full of luscious greenery, floral-patterned china, crocheted linens, and (naturally) wildflowers.
“Fleurs Sauvages” is one of our most popular wedding designs, inspired by an early-morning trip to New York’s Chelsea Flower District. Our designers curated a bouquet of handpicked wildflowers, styled it into an elegant garland, and photographed it as the centerpiece for a bohemian wedding suite complete with matching save the date, details card, RSVP card, and stationery.
A special event deserves an invitation that reflects the amount of dedication and care it took to throw, and we can’t imagine a more fitting design for Edie Lola’s third birthday.
